About the Caterpillar C7 WAX ECM
The WAX is the ADEM 3, 70-pin engine control module for the Caterpillar C7. It is an on-highway truck ECM.

We repair the C7 WAX ECM on the bench and stock tested remanufactured exchange units, programmed to your engine and ready to install. Send yours in for repair, or buy an exchange unit off the shelf.
Common Cat ECM failures we repair
Cat ADEM ECMs tend to fail the same few ways. We fix all of these on the bench, every day:
- Injector driver failure. A dead hole or misfire when the ECM stops driving an injector. We repair the driver circuit and bench-test every channel.
- Lost customer parameters. The settings programmed to your engine drop out. We recover and reload them.
- Runs, but no communication. The engine runs but won't talk to Cat ET. We get communication back so it can be read and programmed.
